This is not a dog-friendly country, with mainly expats having pets, although I have met a few Saudis who had a dog while overseas. Up until recently, the only place I could find dog food was at the commissary on the US military base, so I was quite surprised to see this in our local supermarket. Tim thought dogs would be insulted seeing their food next to kitty litter, however.
