The cul-de-sac where our house is located is inhabited by around five stray cats, very bold and aggressive. They terrorize Sahraa and have tried that on me, too. It's like running the gauntlet to go out on walks. This one in particular is fearless. The other day, however, he (or she) was in our garden, trapped in this tree by an unfamiliar cat. The ruckus they were making right outside my office door was phenomenal, so I went out and sprayed the invader with water, and he left. This one stayed in the tree. Today he was back, lounging on the lawn, when the sprinklers went off, and he fled into the tree. I decided it was time to take a picture of him. I think maybe he’s grateful I saved his fur yesterday.
