Volubilis was settled and prospered under the Mauritanian kings, from the third century B.C. to 40 A.D., after which it was annexed by the Romans.
I think I preferred the views of the countryside more than the ruins themselves so wasn’t going to post many shots of them, but this basilica was pretty impressive, so here it is.
