A last series of pictures from Dar Meziana, our accommodation in Chefchaouen. We stayed at dars and riads – both large former residences, with the latter having an internal courtyard. Dar Meziana wasn’t the most beautiful, but it probably had the most character, especially the rooms. As charming as the rooms were, they were painfully small – getting past the bed was like an obstacle course full of things to bang your leg into, and the little alcove for a computer was so tiny, it took a lot of gyrations to even get into and sit down. Still, it was a pleasant and picturesque place to spend a few days.
This was the front door to Dar Meziana.
