Rabat medina

This is one of the many “streets” in the Rabat medina (old walled city), where obviously no cars are allowed. You really need somebody who knows theses medinas well to navigate them without getting hopelessly lost, especially the medina in Fes, which has over 9,000 passageways and 380,000 residents. Rostom, our driver, guided us to our accommodation, Riad Kalaa (pictured below), that first night in Rabat. Without him, we never would have found it.
