One last picture of the Hassan II Mosque until I do a sub-gallery on it, just because I really liked this view and because Rostom, our driver, went through a lot of trouble to get over to this vantage point in the Casablanca traffic, which is horrific. Two-thirds of this enormous mosque, the second largest religious building in the world, is built over water. I have to admit I got doused by some spray while trying to get this until I figured out just where the waves wouldn't break.

After 14 hours in transit, we finally got back to Riyadh this morning, and although tiring, at least we had wheelchairs and porters to help us at every airport because of Tim’s broken foot. Unfortunately he took a nasty spill on a wet floor in the men’s room in Jeddah and hurt his knee. Hopefully it’s not too serious.
