Marrakech, Majorelle Garden

This is the beautiful and famous Majorelle Garden, where Yves St. Laurent’s ashes were scattered and where a memorial was erected to him. He had owned a mansion next to the grounds.

My excuse for not having a more interesting image from this place is that I was pushing Tim around in a wheelchair since he and our driver had accompanied us to Majorelle, thinking it would be at least one place he’d be able to see easily in Marrakech. To take a picture, I had to park the chair out of the way on a narrow path, get my camera from Tim, give my purse to our tour guide, and shoot. At one point I just stopped looking for picturesque scenes and was searching more for the exit. This is going to be a difficult month while his broken foot heals.

I will probably have to catch up this evening, assuming we have Wi-Fi on the coast.
