Burj Al Arab

This sail-shaped hotel set on an artificial island is an architectural icon and symbol of modern Dubai. We have never been able to go in the two times we’ve been in Dubai as one needs reservations for a restaurant or bar to get past lobby security. I hear it’s pretty lavish, though, so would have been interesting to see.
