This will is a series of three shots of this building, which was constantly changing color as we watched (along with the domed building behind it). We had seen this amazing sight as we neared our hotel upon our arrival in Doha and made a mental note to figure out just what and where it was. We finally saw it from an empty lot, from where these pictures were taken (and where I managed to gather countless burrs on my slacks from climbing through some bushes ;-)). These pictures don’t even show how spectacular a show it was – there were times that what looked like snowflakes were cascading down the facade, but they were impossible to catch well, although I have one last image that might give a hint, taken from close up. The interesting thing is, this building in daylight, while attractive and with picture to follow in another gallery, gives absolutely no idea of what it turns into at night!
