A bit blurry, but a good illustration

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

This looked OK on my iPhone but unfortunately isn’t sharp here (sorry!), but I just wanted to illustrate how Saudis stop to visit with Sahraa. This guy lived in the UK for eight years so was familiar with dogs, and he really enjoyed meeting her.

We had a long, DQ-wide power outage last night, which was sort of scary, and although I now have electricity, I have no landline or Internet connection. I had to drag an IT person over here this morning (the weekend) to help get a hotspot with my iPhone; everything was set up correctly, but the priority order for connections was wrong on my computer so I couldn’t get it to work last night. After about an hour, he figured it out, and so I am connected, after a fashion, again.

Sahraa gets lots of attention from passers by, Helen and this guy looks quite taken with her...BV

I bet if you could arrange for Sahraa to have puppies you could start a roaring business !!

The blur is probably due to the slow shutter speed, not that you have any control over it on an iPhone. I'm glad you are once again connected to the world.

Had only one power failure when I lived in NY for 27 years, but here in Western NC are very common. We're well stocked up with candles, fluorescent, and oil lamps. Our generator, which was decades old and inadequate pooped out and we haven't replaced it - but it's not a bad idea to have one - if just to save the food in the fridge and freezer! (Of course, we do go through technology withdrawal.)

Dog lovers are dog lovers regardless of what part of the world we are in...

She is such a good girl. Glad you posted it even if it is not as sharp as your regular work. He obviously likes dogs and Sahrra obviously does not like cameras! Hope your power stays on.

Obviously a dog lover and misses them. Sahraa obviously not a photography lover :-)
