Al Yamamah Garden must be one of, if not the, largest parks in the Diplomatic Quarter. Tim and Sahraa come here often, but I had never set foot inside it until today. I was floored at its sheer size – and at the number of fountains it has – we counted 14! There are five fountains in view here, and there were two behind me. Another long area intersects with the end of this one and goes off to the right, where there are an equal number of fountains. In addition to the arcaded sections, there is a huge lawn with trees and then an enormous area with kids’ play equipment. Tim says this park is never empty, and indeed we saw several couples walking around here and a number of families having a picnic in the grassy area.
