The Blue Lagoon is reportedly Iceland’s top tourist attraction. It’s a spa fed by water heated by the Svartsengi geothermal plant which is rich in blue-green algae, mineral salts and silica mud. We didn’t go in to the pool but just walked around to see what all the hype was about. I’m sure it would have been relaxing, but personally I think Iceland’s natural wonders are the main attraction.
I was having fun watching this group try to do a SP. I offered to take a picture for them, but instead took one of them.
