Governor's Palace

This traditionally designed building was on Qasr Al Hokm Park but had heavy security so I couldn't really photograph more than this elegant sign and a door on the side. Too bad because the front door was magnificent, but it had not only guards but a huge fan in the way.

A very elegant sign, Helen. I like the contrast between the metal and the rough surface of the wall. V

the calligraphy of the arabic script is naturally elegant and its quite a clever idea to do it in brass on copper
