Hiking objective

We started this day out with a hike up these rocks. There was an abandoned mosque at the top along with a 360-degree view of the area. I didn’t go on the hike, mainly because the only shoes I had with me were Birkenstocks, but also because I’m not really a hiker and didn’t want to. The tour guide had assured me beforehand it was just flat walking and not anything strenuous, but the people who did go on the hike (or part of it) told me later it was pretty difficult and precarious. I was glad I had opted to walk around the area and visit an old village instead.

Another view of the hiking venue:

Super shot of the rugged terrain. I am a keen hiker, but not when it is hot! So I think your decision was wise (especially in view of footwear). V

Great image of the hiking area, good decision I think to view it from the bottom. v

The view is pretty good from the bottom, besides, discretion is the better part of valor! V

flat trail or not the climb looks formidable with the big elevation gain...just as well to follow your own muse..
