This was the abandoned village I visited in lieu of the hike up to the peak pictured below. I think I made the right decision, given what I heard from people after they got back down. The village was interesting, with mainly ruins, although with the wires I saw in the vicinity I couldn’t help but wonder if somebody still lived there.

I’m am having to hire three copy editors for my team in Istanbul, so my “free time” is suddenly taken up with that, but I’ll try to keep up as best I can!
