This was a most interesting phenomenon in the IKEA parking lot: There were many, many groups of people sitting on the pavement, usually near their cars, having picnics, or at least refreshments, together. There were usually more than just two people as shown here, more like bigger families. There isn’t too much in the way of green space here, so I guess any place will do for a gathering. I assume they also had some shopping to do, but couldn’t swear to it. Maybe it was just a rare wide open area to relax in.
