As we were driving around behind the hotel we came across this imposing gate to the Shura Council (Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia). It was the most we could see of the property due to the fact that the main buildings are well hidden inside the complex. We drove past several times, but with the police car and armored vehicle sitting in front of the gate, Tim simply couldn’t stop or even slow down, so this (plus one other picture to be posted) was what I could get.
