Modern and traditional

I don't know what this building is going to be, but it was the first thing I saw when we went to Diriyah around a month ago but couldn't stop to investigate as we were in a motor pool vehicle. I still think it's fascinating. The other side of it was a total construction site.

I don't actually find these two styles all that contradictory. They both have clean, geometric lines and the, admittedly minimal decoration on the new echoes that of the old. V
