Inquisitive 'babies'

These two young camels were a year old. They have been separated (by a fence) from the parents but were pacing the pen, obviously agitated about it. I can't remember exactly why they have to be split up (maybe aggression? they were both males), and apparently when they get older they have to be put in an entirely different place. I'll have to ask my husband if he remembers the reasoning for it all.

Excellent capture of these two young ones. I could find only two terms to describe a group of camels: a flock or a train. V

They're really cute. Looks like the right side of the fence isn't all that secure. Wonder if they don't just crawl under it.

interesting to learn more of camel behaviour and husbandry....recalls memories of our cow happily re-united with its calf despite trailing a ¼ mile of electric fencing around with her

Well, seriously speaking I think this photo is well composed and I like the use of light and the nearly naturally monochromatic effect.
