I had seen this sight a few weeks ago while sitting in an SUV waiting for the driver to figure out where he was going, and it looked spectacular (but I wasn't able to get out to photograph it). I finally walked back up there at around the same time of day, but somehow it wasn't as dazzling as I remember. Maybe because the sun had shifted in those few weeks, or because my positioning was a bit different, but the street was just too busy to cross (especially while tripping on my too-long abaya!). Still, I liked the latticework shadows, so it was worth the effort to get back there.
