Huis Bartolotti (Het Bonte Huis)

Situated on a bend in the Herengracht canal (and thus slightly curved), this house was built in 1617. The house has two inscriptions: "Ingenio et Assiduo Labore" (by ingenuity and hard industry) and "Religione et Probitate" (by religion and righteousness).

This building is also a government monument.
