Hotel Montecarlo

This was the hotel we stayed in, situated on La Rambla. It was excellent, a beautiful old building but with very chic, modern rooms. When we saw the hotel that evening, I asked my husband where the chandelier was. His response: "Definitely not in our room."

Such pretty and ornate architecture. I like the red glow in the windows and the balconies with their iron railings. V.
