The main square in Vác. Most of the buildings here date to the 18th century as the town was destroyed by war in the 17th century. I'm beginning to remember more about this square now; there were ruins but also an underground gallery glassed over displaying what I think were archeological treasures. I really do need to go back (on a day when the weather is nicer!) because after doing more research after the fact, I see we missed a lot.
