I was out on the National Mall when out of nowhere a low-flying helicopter appeared from the direction of the river, followed by another, with a third bringing up the rear. As soon as the first one passed overhead I knew it had to be Obama returning home, and sure enough the middle helicopter (the one pictured) landed on the White House lawn while the other two turned back to Andrews Air Force Base. Needless to say, everybody stopped to watch and was excited to have seen him returning home.
