Washington, DC: 'A Capital City'

As it says on our license plates here, it really is a capital city. It also says "Taxation without Representation" on some plates, which is also true. After serving for the last 15 years in Turkey and Japan, my husband and I have finally moved back into our old house on Capitol Hill and are busy reacquainting ourselves with our adopted home and the nation's capital. This is a work in progress as I keep finding more and more things that delight me about Washington.
