WOW Dave, just watched the video, I remember when they moved it, was on the news most nights. Would have loved to see it but I won't drive in Chicago if I don't HAVE to! I remember going through the sub as a boy, couldn't see how anyone could have lived inside it and stayed sane! Hats off to all the submariners! Loved the American flag flying the mast during the move!

Interesting shot of this German Pig boat, as they were called. I can't imagine what it was like inside one for any length of time. There's a great German film called "Das Boot" (translated "That Boat") which you should get from Blockbusters and settle in to watch it, if you haven't already seen it. I mean I got claustrophobic just sitting in the theater ...
