According to Gasper J. "Buddy" Stall in his book "Louisiana COD (Cities of the Dead)"*: Earl Arnold was entombed in an upright position near the entrance of the Bogalusa Cemetery. "Upright" so he could be above everyone else in the cemetery. Mr. Stall also wrote that Earl had all female pallbearers dressed just as he had requested, in bright pink evening gowns with matching large-brimmed hats.

The tomb is constructed completely sealed with no visible door or opening to accept other bodies.

For dates there is only an "Alpha" year inscribed on the stone (1911). The word Omega is there but no date is inscribed under it.

"One Who Cares" I assume that's a slogan left over from his days in business. Earl owned and operated a funeral home.

Earl was shot dead. Allegedly by one of his employees.
