This is part of a mural that covers an entire church on an island in Lake Tana.

...a continuation of my interpretations: ...and pay attention, this gets complicated:
OK, first off, people with one eye are evil. Depictions of people with two eyes are good.
In this you have Jimi Hendrix and his two brothers, in the upper left, stabbing the enemy in the
ear, neck and eye (as evidenced by the squirting blood) and than trampling them with their horses,
just to be sure. You still have Jesus, trying to chop a tree with his two fingers, as
well as Mary playing with his halo, as well as the guy still pulling on his robe, which
is annoying because he's trying to concentrate on the tree, as well as all the other characters.
You have a whole bunch of bishops and followers everywhere also,
depicting peaceful scenes to balance out the carnage going on with Jimi.
That's it. Done. Jimi's kickin ass.
