The Male Dungeon, the Female Dungeon, the Door of No Return. Names that can only
bring to mind the horrible atrocities that happened at this very site not too long
ago. At this very spot though, the sun is shining, the air crisp and clean, waves
breaking, palm trees swaying. The view is spectacular. Behind me, the town of
Cape Coast. In front, an endless view down a beautiful beach.

You could almost forget where your standing. But your mind wanders, remembering
sights you saw a few minutes before, and the beautiful world is lost in your
imagination. Trying to picture what this would have looked like at the time when
this was a slave castle, sending countless lives to faraway places, never to
see this beach again. ...a memory of the imagination, one you can't forget.
