homemade african whisky is one of the "must try's" of West Africa. About
500 CFA a bottle, or about one US dollar... this stuff is potent. Whew...
It is alos a requirement to take a few shots at the beginning of a Voodoo
ceremony, as seen here. These people know how to have a good ceremony.
Other uses of the "gin" also include sterilization before a guy gets cut
or a huge cactus stuck to him, as a good fire starter or just as a great way
to mingle and intereact with the locals. Togo is another great place for the
"gin". Oh yeah, that is the king fetish/god/voodoo king "ATE" in the background.
