An other first for me - A Dunlin.
Three images of a Dunlin in Winter Plumage. I found this Dunlin feeding alongside the Semipalmated Plover that I posted yesterday. Both were quite approachable. I could get as close to them as my lens would allow. A few times they just turned their back to me and looked the other way, a bit like an ostrich with its head in the sand - if we can't see him, he's not there, or he can't see us. A lot of shore birds and waterfowl are migrating through our area now on their way south.
