sunflower back

Manipulated--the manipulation may have flattened it out too much in some areas.
I like the original image too and may post it too in the flowers gallery.
Cropping was in the camera.
Okay, this image has spawned a number of alternatives.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II
1/15s f/2.8 at 100.0mm iso200 full exif

I do a photo in various renditions as well; for this one, I like the one you've posted as you PAD the best.

How lucky we are to see them all. I like the processed one alot, and glad you're posting them all.

I like the texture created by the post processing, but I think the image can stand on its own without it. It has interesting structures and I like the composition; I would be very much interested to see the original.

Gerat colours, excellent crop! The treatment I dont care for as much, but overall, a very nice image

Great tight crop, and the texture is just right for the subject.
