Gatekeepers

Vehicles are allowed in the park twice a day, early morning and late afternoon. The number of vehicles, the routes they follow and the time they stay in the park are all tightly controlled. These two guys man a control point.

Hello John, Lovely gallery on Ranthambore. I particularly like this photo because you've captured the aspect that a lot of people miss. Most people, including me have just shot animals and the scenery. I have just returned form Ranthambore last weekened and had a bonanza of tiger sightings - 4 tigers in 4 trips into the jungle!
