Back of yard

Bloomington, MN

View from the back of the yard, looking west toward the house. There's still a lot of work to be done, but it's looking better. I've moved a bunch of stuff closer to the house that started spreading, so it's just a random mix. I'm not even sure what everything is. We have some coneflower, bees balm (the non-native variety, that's the red flower in this photo), black-eyed susan (?), and the giant plant on the right is one of the cupplant offspring that I transplanted.

This area used to be completely full of buckthorn and an out of control wild grape vine. Compare to this view from two years prior.
