Cranes are constantly taking off all morning long, in pairs or groups of 3-5. Eventually they are all gone from the river, out in the fields for the day (or taking off for good on migration.) It's hard to get photos when they are this close, but sometimes they are separated enough for a good shot. Here we have some beautiful morning light on these two cranes.
