Winterberry is a type of holly. They are dioecious, meaning that separate male and female plants are needed to produce berries. The female is on the left, with the berries. They are popular with the birds. Purchased from Outback Nursery. I think these will do well in this spot, and be a nice replacement for the buckthorn that used to grow here.
