Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) named the
Auditorium (commonly referred to as the "Golden Egg") in Hong Kong Science Park as
Charles K. Kao Auditorium
to pay tribute to the Nobel laureate dubbed the ¨Father of Fiber Optics〃.
