PYROCumulosity - Whole-ee GhuK!! So Skar-ee Maid Mi Laff!

PLEASE View In 'ORIGINAL' - Santa Monica

This sky structure DOMINATED the local skyline for over a week during the "Station Fire" of last summer/fall of '09. It is a pyrocumulus cloud structure generated by extreme circumstance of heat and combustion at ground level. For example: The Station-Fire or an Atomic Bomb ;-) I'd say "just kidding ;-)" but, I'm not . . . . . .

My first thought when viewing this is that it looks like a volcanic eruption. Nicely captured and something you hopefully won't have to experience again. Voted.

The puffy clouds are great, but what is in front of them is sure tells a story.
