I've waded through here on our hikes. I recall a deep spot near the beginning where you either had to hang precariously on the ledge edge or try to wade while protecting your camera ( the depth of the water hides the chest-deep depth on what was other wise a mostly shallow walk ). On my journey, I walk in quite a ways and on my return I bump into a rattle snake -- that's how I learned that rattlers also swim. Each of us were afraid of the other & the snake beats a retreat on the same route I need to take near that ledge. I had to follow to keep an eye on the snake's whereabouts so it doesn't disappear around a curve and I lose sight of it. A really neat trail, especially here where you walk between canyon walls.
