Chocolate Falls

This is Grand Falls on the Little Colorado River. It's been dubbed Chocolate Falls by locals due to the muddy water content. It's a most impressive waterfall when flowing. Unfortunately, the water volume seen above can usually only be seen a few weeks each year...during spring melt and after heavy monsoon rains. The rest of the year it's reduced to a trickle.
