Tiger scouts at the Portland Pirates Hockey game this evening.

My son was asked if he wanted to participate in the flag ceremony this evening (we were already going, it was cub scout night). He wasn't shy in front of all those people. We got there late, he really didn't have time to worry about it.

The angle isn't all that great. We had to stand back, off the ice with their backs to us. There was a moment or two where the people guarding/watching the opening, moved a way so I could get a shot or two in. Had to flip to ISO 1600. This is definately NOT a fast lens, I thought I was going to be too far away for my 28mm f/1.8. In hindsight, I could have left the 28mm on and just cropped. It was all so fast, when they were rolling out two carpets, we thought that the boys were going to be in the middle of the rink. They rolled out the carpets into a T, so they were much closer to us then we expected.
