OK, I am looking at all these other galleries and see their shadow galleries and figure "Hey, I can do this. It can't be that hard."

OK, it's not easy either.

I will make this shot work eventually. In a field near work, there is this stump in the open with a bush over it. The shadow on the stump, out in the field, looks awesome. There is this shadow superimposed over this naturally grainy background.
