We actually pulled over to eat on Route 112, but before we actually began riding it. Route 112 extends North about 6 or 8 miles further than on any of the maps or our GPS. In fact, we appeared to be riding off road for the last leg on the Northern section. We put ourselves through all this (including rain storms) to claim the entire route for the Maine Motorcycle Olympics. You have to ride a complete State Route to get points for the miles. I have to do some fancy math in a bit to figure out how long Route 112 actually is. The food at the Buxton House of Pizza was very good, I had a "Real Italian Sub" and my daughter, Mikaella, had a Tunafish sub. And Mikaella is not in any danger from getting doused by the refreshing water behind her, it is just a picture.
