how did I see him? He made a mistake: He moved. But then he held real still while I trained my lovely 100 mm macro on him... ha!

Very nice -- enough texture in the sand to make you keep looking, and just enough separation in the crab to eventually find him. Good camouflage. Definitely well seen.
