HAYNES DESCRIPTION
After a string of international rally victories with the XK 120 and XK 14, the XK 150 followed in May 1957. The XK150 showed many improvements over the XK140 it replaced. Disk brakes all round gave the car excellent braking, following the success of the Girling units in the racing C-Types. The drophead coupe is a most comfortable sporting tourer which is a pleasure to drive.
In S specification it can reach speeds of more than 130mph with a power output of 250bhp.
