On a grain of rice?

Venice Beach, California

I was going through a few archives when I came across this and had to share it.
Please help me to understand this process.
The brushes shown on the table certainly won't accomplish the job.

I also do the Name On Rice (NameOnRice.com) at Venice Beach for the last 13 years.

Dear Guest,

Please take the time to reread my comment. I simply made an observation. Then asked for help to understand how it could be done, (obviously not with the brushes shown in the photo). What I find even more artistic than the rice art process, is your use off the English language to paint me as some sort of numb skull. bravo!

BTW, please post or e-mail me a picture of YOUR grain of rice containing 144 characters. That would really be something to see.

You see, this is the problem with people in the world, just because others can do what you can't does not mean it is impossible, do yourself a favour and stop to appreciate the art. I say it is an art as, narrow-minded ignoramuses like you who make dumb comments about everything your pea brain cannot understand, I have personally written 144 characters on a single grain!

This is priceless! She must have better eyesight than I do. I certainly couldn't see my name AND a picture on a grain of rice! And what do you do with the grain of rice once you have it? And what if you have a really loooooooong name??? Too many questions..............

Maybe it is a scam?

Every time I've seen one of these stands I just shake my head and move on. I have enough trouble seeing regular-sized print these days. Plus, I lose big things, like my phone and my purse. I certainly don't want to keep up with a grain of rice!
