Thanks Catherine. I realize you posted your comment before I updated the location info to indicate it was taken on Amherst Island as you photographed a Barred Owl on the same day. The light was great in the woods.

Thanks Janet. The setting in the woods on Amherst Island provide a nice backdrop at this time of the year. It would have been even better two weeks ago as much of the leaves have fallen or lost some of their colour. I have photographed Barred Owls in other locations where the setting was not as interesting.
