Coopers Hawk

One of four young Coopers Hawks. It was reported to me that one of the young Coopers Hawks met with an unfortunate accident and was killed so there are now only three.

Hi Chuck. These guys are fun to watch and noisy too. I had a special treat when one of them brought a bird to a perch right in front of me. It proceeded to pluck it and then started to eat it. Another young was nearby watching. The second hawk tried to take a piece of the meal twice without success. It is a priviledge to see these hawks up close and in person.
