Gypsy Tea Room K-14 1955

Ye Olde Gypsy Tea Room after it had been spruced up by Lou DeWitt. This was after the Squadron made it's final move to Kimpo before being deactivated. A GRANDE palace it was for sure....especially compared to the base Mess Hall.

Gentlemen:
My father, Capt Walter R. trent, flew with several different units after flying in the CBI as a B-25 Mitchell pilot.
In going through all of his memorabilia I found a lighter with Kyushu Gypsies and a Gooney Bird on it.
I don't have complete records of all his units, but I do know he was with the 815th TCS and then the 374th TCW in Tachi and Ashiya.
Can anyone tell me if he was actually a part of the Kyushu Gypsies at any time?I don't know how he came by the lighter but perhaps he flew with you gentlemen for a while?
Thanks in advance for any information or assistance you can render.

regards,

John C. Trent
