Tahiti, Jan 2006 We have not spent time enough on Tahiti to see even close to all points of interest. Aside of strolling through Papeete, and a stop in Arue at the James Norman Hall Estate, we circled the Tahiti Nui (the larger half-island) and we drove along the north shore of Tahiti Iti, the smaller part of the Island. We stopped at a few places of interest and "inhaled" some of the local Tahiti way of living. Points of interest not seen, or overseen by mistake: Gauguin Museum and the Museum of the Islands. Needless to say: we have to go back and do it again! |
